Welcome

First, thanks for reading my blog. I know some other guys have some as well who have more balls than me, but it inspired me to make one of my own. For starters, my name is Chris and I’m 23. I got into ballhawking after stumbling across Zack Hample‘s blog. He has caught around 6,000 balls. Me? Currently I am at 47. I started last year, and like they say, practice makes perfect. My goal this year is to end up around 75 at season’s end. Some ballhawks don’t include minor league balls, and some do. I prefer to because sometimes I think it is harder at minor league parks (smaller capacity, players remembering you). In case you are interested in how I got my first 47: Here is the list in chronological order (#, player, how I obtained it, date, location) Also, I still have yet to physically catch a hit ball into my glove! And it’s killing me. Others do it so easily. >:O All my balls were either easter eggs or toss-ups. Enjoy!

    Chris-
I’m 15, also a ballhawk, and I live in minnesota. I started ballhawking this year (also because of coming across Zack Hample and his blog). I have 20 balls this year in 6 games, and have gotten a few balls previous years. Check out my blog and you can read about my experiances. Good luck on Ballhawking, Yankee Stadium is tuff.

Thanks for reading the blog! I appreciate it. Yankee Stadium is tough. Crowded. Ugh. Can’t wait until I have money to travel to other parks. Will give your blog a read for sure.
